Mark Walls, DVM - Veterinarian

Dr. Walls earned a B.S. in Biology and a B.S. in Animal Science from Eastern Kentucky University. He is a graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He founded By Pass Animal Clinic in July of 1994. He, his wife, Anne, and his children, Natalie and Brent, currently have 2 indoor and 2 outdoor cats. They also have a tuff of (3) Pomeranians. His favorite part of the job is making a positive difference in the lives of pets and their guardians.

Lori Eidson, DVM – Veterinarian

Dr. Eidson graduated from Madison Central High School in 2000 with a Commonwealth Diploma. She earned a B.S. in Biology from Transylvania University in 2004. She graduated from Auburn University in 2010 with a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. She has a 7 year old Lab mix named Molly, and a 1 year old Lab mix named Henry, who love to cuddle on the couch, wrestle with each other, and get into trouble in the kitchen. She is the mother to 3 year old triplet girls, named Emerson, Hadley, and Mary-Kathryn. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Patrick, for 12 years. Life is crazy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way. She has been with the clinic since January 2013. Before this, she worked at an ER in Cincinnati and a busy practice in Lexington. Her favorite part of her job is getting to know the clients and their pets, seeing patients grow up and enjoy life, and being there in the end to give dignity to the life lived. She also loves sharing the joy of veterinary medicine with students.

Malisa Bach – Office Manager

Malisa has an Associate’s degree in Medical Assistance from the Kentucky College of Business. She, her husband, Jason, and their daughters, Kaylon and Jordan, have a 10 year old Shih tzu mix named Taz, a 2 year old Vizsla/Lab mix named Leo, and a 8 year old cat named Chuck. She has been with the clinic since September 1996. Her favorite part of her job is being able to give great pet care to the fur babies. Also, loving and cuddling them makes her day so much better.

Jamie Walls – Veterinary Assistant

Jamie is an Eastern Kentucky University graduate with a B.S. in Child and Family Studies: Child Development. She, her husband, Mack, and their 2 daughters have many cats, dogs, horses, and a parrot. She has been with the clinic since 1999. Her favorite part of her job is helping animals and their owners.

Ashley Jones – Veterinary Assistant

Ashley has completed two years at EKU under a Pre-Veterinary Science major. She has 3 German Shepherd mixes named Mya, Ugg and Mowgli, a Great Dane mix named Stella, and two cats named Pickles and Ketsia. She has been with the clinic since February 2013. Her favorite part of the job is being able to provide loving and compassionate care to all the fur babies.

Amy Blackburn – NCVA

Amy is an University of Tennessee Knoxville graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science. She has one Pit Bull mix named Miley. She has been with the clinic since 2014. Her favorite part of her job is the kittens. She also teaches in the Veterinary Assistant Program at the Medical Career and Technical College.
